Voting occurs via the two methods below:

Polling

This consists of utilizing the snapshot protocol for off-chain gasless voting where 1 XCN or 1 XCN-staked equals 1 vote for a proposal.

Voting

Chain Governance voting is the on-chain votes for a CIP that costs has to execute the vote directly on the blockchain. 1 XCN or 1 XCN-staked equals 1 vote for a proposal.
